Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a process whereby therapists and health practitioners can engage in reflective practice regarding their work with clients. It is designed to support you at all levels in achieving and maintaining high ethical standards of work while simultaneously maintaining your mental health and wellbeing. 

It is best to choose an experienced Supervisor who can meet your specific developmental, learning and supervision needs. Clinical supervision should be a rewarding experience and an important element to this is finding a supervisor that you relate to.

In my supervision sessions, I love to draw upon symbols and archetypes and will often use pictures, objects and cards to do this. In my experience, metaphors honour the intellect, logic and wisdom of the left hemisphere while symbols unlock the expansive creativity of the right hemisphere. It is such a powerful way to work!

I bring over 23 years of clinical supervision to our sessions. For 20 years, I was a Board Approved Supervisor for Psychologists with AHPRA and have completed further Clinical Supervision Training for Counsellors. As a member of an Association for Supervisors, I stay engaged in ongoing professional development and participate in my own supervision for the purpose of supervising others.
